bang and olufsen
2020

Summary
My goal with this project is to bring a new style and experience to Bang and Olufsen. I wanted the website to feel more modern and sophisticated with a bit of a luxurious touch. Something that I realized while shopping at Band and Olufsen was the websites lack of character. I believe that an amazing product deserves an amazing website to present it to its customers.

We've got work to do
My process started by looking at what was successful with their current website and what their competition were doing in order to present their products to their customers. I realized that many audio brands have a lack of a more sophisticated feel to their website to results in a lack of presentation when showcasing their products. I brought my knowledge of graphic design and visual language in order to create more unique banners to intrigue the customers who are online shopping.
Level asked as to help
— Take their product look to the next level
— Fix UX issues in mobile and web application
— Match their bold vision to the look and experience of the product
— Provide a visual framework that will help the product team iterate faster
Creating a website that showcases their high end products with clear and targeted messaging was a crucial step in increasing conversions. This exploration of design experimenting gave me a reason to try keeping the adaptive mindset throughout all of my design processes. This is because not all businesses provide a luxury, every business targets their own specific audience which as a designer I should always make sure that my designs reflect the demographic.
